Ingestion and transformations together are over 60 percent of the exam. If you cannot confidently explain the difference between Auto Loader and COPY INTO, or write a GROUP BY with a window function from memory, you are not ready.
The exam also changed significantly after July 2025. It now leans more on Unity Catalog, Lakeflow Declarative Pipelines (formerly Delta Live Tables), Databricks Asset Bundles, and scenario-based reasoning. If your prep materials were written before that update, they are missing important topics.

Honest answer: dumps teach you to recognize specific questions. The exam tests whether you can think through problems you have never seen before.
Databricks rotates their question pool. The exact questions in any dump are unlikely to appear on your exam in the same form. Even if you memorize 500 answers, a scenario-based question that changes one variable, a different file format, a different data quality requirement, a different pipeline architecture, will expose the gap between memorization and understanding.
